Touring Tian An Men Square and The Forbidden City with our tour group

This trip is already so different from last time. Last time, we had about 25 families from our adoption agency in Beijing with 15 going to our province to adopt. This time we have 5 with only 3 going on to our province. It is actually nice being in such a small group because we already know all 18 people's names and I can tell we will get close to each other. Lily Kate is struggling with the time difference and exhaustion is already getting to her. Hopefully she will get used to the 12 hour time difference quickly. Yesterday, we spent the day touring Tian An Men Square and The Forbidden City. It was a very long day but it was great to say that we experienced it. We went to a food market near the hotel in the evening and saw all the unique dishes that we always hear about. No, we didn't try anything. We just looked and took pictures. We look forward to more touring of Beijing.
