The big day is getting close...

The past six months have been VERY long as we have waited for all of our paperwork to go through and all of our travel approvals to become finalized. We found out towards the end of June that everything was done and that we had gotten the go ahead with travel. While we waited for 6 years with Lily Kate (many of you followed our journey and blog (bringinghomelilykate.blogspot.com), the entire process with Will took less than two years for a couple of reasons. First, we went right on the special needs list and second, he is a boy. The wait time is much shorter for a boy than a girl. He has grown up so much since we first looked at his pictures in January. He is definitely a toddler now. Lily Kate refers to him as her "baby" but the funny thing is that he is as big as her. Their age difference is 16 months. Lily Kate has become the queen of the house (just ask Abby and Drew) so we are very curious to see how she will react to having a sibling to share the attention with. WE look forward to sharing our travel journey with all of you in the upcoming weeks.
