Official Adoption Day-July 22nd

Will is definitely not a momma's baby. He actually will not even let me hold him. He LOVES his "baa baa" (his name for Dave) and his Drew. It is very funny to see. It is actually typical of most orphans-they bond with only one parent at a time. With Lily Kate the moms were so upset when they had those babies who bonded with the dads. In our case, it is just great that he is bonding with somebody. It is harder because he is older and has the language barrier. The poor little guy tries to talk to us and gets so frustrated when we don't understand him. Luckily our adoption agency agent talks to him constantly and relates what he wants. Usually it is more food!!! This little guy can sure eat but he is picky and won't eat just anything like Lily Kate would. This morning we finalized his adoption and he officially became William James Campbell.:) It was exciting. We then spent the afternoon at the local park on the rides. We learned that he loves an adventure. We took him to the pool and he did not like getting his suit wet. It did not make him happy. This time around, we are really exploring the town much more than last time. With only 3 families in our group, we are doing everything together. We went to an authentic Chinese restaurant for dinner and had a fabulous meal--all for about $20 for the 6 of us. We can't wait for everyone to meet Will. He is adorable.
